A sale in memory of their stillborn son Luke has enabled John and Ruth Tuddenham to make a £4,000 donation to help other bereaved parents.
The auction of donated football and showbiz memorabilia and items at the Masonic Hall in Thame was attended by hundreds of people.
Mrs Tuddenham, pictured with her husband and the donated items, said: "The support from everyone was wonderful.
"The loss of Luke was a tragedy for us, but at least some good has come out of it."
The sale raised £3,000 and the rest came in donations. The couple, of Skippon Way, Thame, will give the money to the Ashfield Suite Trust Fund at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, which helps parents of babies who are stillborn or die shortly after birth.
The donation will pay for a digital camera and computer equipment so parents can have photographs of their child.
