Primary school children sang carols as Christmas lights outside County Hall were switched on Tuesday, December 9.
Children from Berinsfield Community School perform a selection of carols
About 40 children from Berinsfield Community School performed a selection of carols while the chairman of Oxfordshire County Council, David Turner, switched on the lights.
The children were chosen after Oxfordshire's County Music Service recommended them to the council as a first-class choir.
It has become a tradition for pupils to sing when the lights, fixed to a beech tree outside the building in New Road, are turned on.
Cllr Turner said: "My thanks go to Atkins for providing the lights and to the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service for setting them up."
