Didcot Tn 7, Pegasus Juniors 0: Didcot reclaimed third spot in the Hellenic League Premier Division with a scintillating seven-goal demolition of lowly Pegasus Juniors at the Loop Meadow Stadium on Saturday.

A hat-trick from Jody McKay and a brace from fellow striker Ian Concannon in action-packed first half settled the outcome as Pegasus went in 5-0 down at the break.

Skipper Andy Cooper then nodded home a sixth, and substitute Paul Bedwell struck No 7 to complete the scoring.

It could have been worse for the visitors as both Concannon and Paul Powell saw efforts come back off the woodwork.

Abingdon Utd 0, Brackley Tn 2: Brackley went top of the Premier Division with this win at Abingdon, who made them fight all the way.

The visitors took the lead when ex-United player Kai Ridley slid the ball across goal for Andy Baird to find the top corner.

After the break, Abingdon pushed Town back, but struggled to create chances against a well-organised defence.

Richard Peirson saw a powerful header fly just wide, but Brackley made sure of the points seven minutes from time when Neil King was put clear to score.

Chipping Norton 4, Hungerford Tn 3: Chippy came out on top in this seven-goal thriller, but had keeper Jeremy Winter to thank.

Darren Howell put Hungerford 2-0 up inside half an hour, Chippy pulling one back when Leon Canning netted his 22nd goal of the season.

Three minutes later, Chippy levelled through Matthew Jeffrey to make it 2-2 at the break.

Winter made a superb save from Howell, but crashed into the post and left the field for ten minutes with a deep cut above his eye, Jason Court taking over in goal.

Winter returned to make an outstanding stop from Fox, before Chippy went ahead through Jeffrey.

A Howell penalty squared it up again at 3-3, but Chippy bagged the winner on 70 minutes, when Canning was fouled in the box and Court netted the penalty.

North Leigh 2, Almondsbury Tn 3: A Craig Davidge hat-trick for Almondsbury sent North Leigh sliding to defeat in a match full of incident.

The first half was goalless, with North Leigh forced to reshuffle early on after defender Stuart Huxley left the field with a back injury.

Davidge scored his first just after the restart and ten minutes later added a second when allowed to collect the ball in a offside position and score unopposed.

North Leigh hit back through a Nick Hughes piledriver and a curling shot from Harry Burnley to level the scores.

With five minutes remaining, Almondsbury were awarded a penalty and up stepped Davidge to score from the spot.

Shortwood 1, Bicester Tn 2: Shortwood had the better of the first half and went ahead with a Matt Moore header from a corner after 35 minutes.

It was all Bicester in the second half. Kevin Peake equalised with a great shot on 55 minutes and clever work from Steve Ayris set up Christian Jones for the winner in the 82nd minute to secure the points.

Hook Norton 1, Henley Tn 2: Hooky hit the woodwork three times and created a host of other chances, but still went down to lowly Henley.

Richard Northover hit a post with a fine header in the first half, but Henley went 2-0 up through Michael Williamson and Ashley Isaacs after the break.

Steve O'Rourke pulled one back with five minutes left, but Henley held on.
