Witney Roadrunners juniors finished off their Oxfordshire Indoor Sportshall League season in great style as they collected four trophies.

They were victorious in the under 13 boys, under 15 boys, overall boys, and under 13 girls categories.

In the under 13 boys' age group, Adam Sambrook and Chris Constantine starred, both winning their triple jump competitions with leaps of 6.20m and 5.28m respectively.

In the under 15 boys' competition, Sam Hook and Lewis Warren both had great afternoons.

Hook set a venue record in the two-lap race with 26.8secs, and Warren set a personal best with a four-lap race win of 57.4.

The under 13 girls again put in a string of strong performances.

Hollis Lane and Dorcas Wright won the A and B string two-lap races, as did Claire Butler and Alice Parsons in the four-lap.

In the under 15 girls' competition, Carly Milward and Amie Doidge bowed out of the age group in style.

Milward won the shot with a personal best of 8.84.

Doidge won the four-lap race and finished second in both the vertical jump and speed bounce with scores of 48 and 76 respectively.

George Lane produced an excellent display in the chest push, setting an Oxfordshire Sportshall record of 7.40m in the under 11 event.
