Didcot Town's Hellenic League Premier Division title bid took a massive setback yesterday as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat against North Leigh at Loop Meadow.
Didcot started at a furious pace, and only a stunning save from veteran keeper Kevin Alder stopped them taking an early lead.
Mark Lewis thumped home from 10 yards to put North Leigh in front, and although the south Oxfordshire outfit applied plenty of pressure, North Leigh held firm.
In the dying moments, Mike Ford forced another superb save from Alder.
