Morrells of Oxford Sunday League: Former Oxford City striker John McMahon helped Rose Hill stay on track for the treble as they made the final of the President's Cup with a 6-0 drubbing of Barton United.

Already in contention for the Premier Division title, they are also in the League Cup final.

Gary Trinder headed them in front, before another header, this time from Stuart Parsons, found the net.

Justin Ford and McMahon added a goal each as Rose Hill went into the break 4-0 up.

In the second half, Barton, who boasted former Oxford United winger Joey Beauchamp in their side, tried to force their way back into the game.

However, two more strikes from McMahon crushed any hopes of a comeback, as he completed his hat-trick.

Rose Hill will now face Highfield in the final after they beat The Nelson 2-1. Highfield were determined not to suffer the same fate as the previous week, when Nelson defeated them 3-1 in the League Cup semi-finals, and battled for every ball.

Sam Donaldson gave Highfield the interval lead, firing home from a penalty.

But just as a place in the final was in their grasp, Nelson levelled with ten minutes to go through Julian McCalmon.

It looked like the game would go into extra time, only for Dave Anderson to grab the winner, despite claims for off-side.

Away from the cup, Lee Keyes smashed a hat-trick as Star Wanderers completed their Premier Division season with a 5-2 victory over lowly Mansfield Road.

It didn't start well for Star, who fell behind to Dan Trinder's strike on 20 minutes.

However, ten minutes later they were level as Keyes slammed home a double, the first of which was a penalty and the other a clinical strike.

Pete Higgins then grabbed No 3, with a solo run just before the break.

Mansfield pulled a goal back when Trinder netted his second on 75 minutes.

But Star did not sit back and Keyes completed his treble from Jon Muttock's cross.

Muttock then lobbed the keeper for Star's fifth.

The Railway were crowned Division 3 champions with a 6-3 victory over The Bookbinders, with Simon Neary hammering a hat-trick.

Jon Taylor (2) and Nathan Turner got the others.
