A round of golf will take a project a step nearer the £200,000 it needs to convert a town centre building for church and community use.
All the money raised at the charity golf competition at the Springs Golf Club, North Stoke, will go the the conversion of Wallingford's Old Free Library.
Fundraisers have already collected £28,000 towards the target.
The library was bought by the adjacent Methodist Church for £250,000 last year.
The plan is to convert it to extra space for the church and for use by the community.
Secretary Anne Baudry said more players were needed for the golf competition on Tuesday, September 21, where there will be a challenge trophy and other prizes to be won.
The closing date for entries is August 21 and details can be obtained from Mrs Baudry on 01491 201646.
A concert in St Mary's Church, Wallingford, by the Caerphilly Male Voice Choir raised more than £1,000 for the project.
