Oxford Cavaliers' hopes of play-off glory in the totalrl.com Conference fizzled out with a 35-14 home defeat by Telford Raiders.
The visitors began at a gallop, opening the scoring with a try after only three minutes.
At the heart of every Telford move was Daz White, former Cavalier and RAF stalwart.
Strong running by White in the centres and clinical finishing ensured that his new side had a commanding lead by half-time.
Oxford re-grouped during the interval and determined defence at the start of the second 40 minutes stemmed the Telford tide.
Bryan Graham, in possibly his last game for Cavaliers, led from the front and was ably supported by Liam Beezley, Adam White, Ollie Rees and a blockbusting man-of-the-match, Matt Brocklebank.
Team boss Matt Walsh paid tribute to his star player, Graham, who moves abroad later this year.
He said: "Bryan trains hard, plays hard and orchestrates our creative play. He will be a tough act to follow."
