Police are appealing for witnesses after a man indecently exposed himself.

Officers believe the incident, in Somerton, near Bicester, at about 4.30pm last Saturday, could be linked to a similar incident in Bure Park, Bicester, in May.

Police were called to the latest incident after a man was seen walking in the village dressed in women's clothing and committing an indecent act.

He was in his mid to late 30s, 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, of athletic build, had dark hair and a deep suntan.

The man had removed all his body hair and was wearing a black bra and a woman's blue top.

He was seen holding a mobile phone to his ear and was standing next to a red car, possibly a Fiat.

In May, a teenager was sexually assaulted as she and her friend walked along a footpath running from Bure Park to Barry Avenue.

The girls heard a noise behind them and turned round to see a naked man following them.

The man tried to talk to the girls, then reached out and touched one of them. The girls ran off.

Pc Mario Parga said: "We are linking these two very serious incidents due to their sexual nature, and the strikingly similar descriptions of the offender in both crimes.

"We believe that this man may live locally in the Heyford/Bicester area and need to trace him as soon as possible.

"If anyone recognises the description of the man or feels that they have any other relevant information, I would appeal for them to contact us immediately as they may be able to help our investigation."
