SIR -- How nice to read (Oxford Mail, August 25) the sense of responsibility Oxford city councillors have when it comes to attending meetings about the annual accounts.
It gives me so much confidence in these councillors, the way they look after council taxpayers' money. They do not even want to know what is being done with it.
Is there any chance I can get on the gravy train?
