Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier Division: Chipping Norton outgunned lowly Littlemore 46-0 in a dour game.

Littlemore's spoiling tactics negated Chippy's attempts to play any flowing rugby, but even so, they were always in command.

Ian Hancock, Steve Holland and Dean Beacham went over for first-half tries, Adam Smith converting one to make the half-time score 17-0.

After the break, Chippy dominated possession, scoring five more tries through Smith, Steve Allen, Chris Pinfold and Jon Hickman (2). Smith added two conversions.

A depleted Gosford All Blacks side, without profilic scorer Andy Buckingham and fly half Mark Wingfield-Digby, went down 27-0 at Farnham Royal.

Gosford shook the home side in the early exchanges, but Ed Marno was unable to capitalise on the three early penalties awarded.

Against the run of play, the Royals' South African fly half Human Vanass weaved his way over for an unconverted try, and two more from Rob Freeman made it 17-0 at the break.

The Gosford pack, with Steve Bartlett dominating the lineouts, kept up the pressure on the home side and had a number of chances to reduce the deficit, but an injury to scrum half Marno forced them to re-shuffle the backs.

Gary Holton, Peter Midgeley and Andy Longthorpe all went close for the visitors, but the Royals made a two rare incursions into the Gosford half and scored both times through Woods and Vanass to wrap up victory.

Wallingford suffered a rare defeat when they went down 19-12 away to Milton Keynes.

The visitors started slowly and were two tries down before they stirred into life.

They scored from their two main attacks of the first half, captain Olli Henderson running in both tries from quickly-taken penalties inside the 22.

Milton Keynes extended their lead to go in at half time 19-12 to the good, and that's how it stayed in the second half as Wallingford were forced to defend.

Harwell matched visitors Drifters for long periods, but lacked the cutting edge to turn their territory into points, going down 30-3.

Drifters scored the opening try midway through the first half, before a Dave Beaven penalty brought Harwell back into the game.

A try just before half-time saw Drifters lead 10-3 and four further tries confirmed their credentials as one of the top teams in the division.

A dominant performance by the forwards saw Oxford win 36-3 away to Thatcham in appalling conditions.

Despite the margin of victory, the Oxford performance could have been better. Chances were missed through a combination of wrong options, poor handling and last-ditch defending.

The game kicked off in driving rain, which turned into sleet and snow, and the early exhanges saw Oxford take a 6-3 lead after a series of penalties.

The Oxford pack then started to dominate and were rewarded with a pushover try from No 8 Mark Viner and another from Dave Ralson to make it 16-3 at the break.

The second half brought further Oxford tries from Dickie Grey, Ralson, John Viner and Mark Viner.
