Sir - I would like to congratulate BBC Oxford on its relaunch. Someone has to stick up for it.

I used to listen to Fox FM constantly, but after the relaunch of BBC Oxford, I have been tuned into 95.2FM.

I guess you could call me one of those listeners in the young and middle age bracket that one of your correspondents suggests downloads music to disc and listen to MP3.

I am in a way, but it is also good to listen to the radio.

I enjoy listening to Danny Cox from 10am to 1 pm and the debates with Bill Heine from 4pm until I return home from work. Some of the people who call make me laugh.

BBC Oxford still plays a lot of old music that you can enjoy, whatever age you are.

I guess older listeners are suffering because they just don't like change, but in this day and age, you have to move with the times.

It's not that BBC Oxford has started playing heavy metal. You can still understand the words of the songs it plays.

Come on, BBC Oxford, keep it up.

You have always got people calling in, so listeners are still staying with you, no matter what they say.
