The proposed takeover of Hellenic League club Witney United by self-made millionaire Andrew West appears to have fallen through, after the deadline for a proposal passed without further contact.
West was given 14-days to submit a written proposal to the directors of the club, but nothing has materialised.
Chairman Steve Lake said: "Since we have had no further contact from Mr West, we assume that his interest in the club has ended."
West refused to comment.
