What does Carl Butterworth mean (Oxford Mail, March 7)?
"The A34 is in a terrible mess once more". I don't remember the A34 being anything else. Did the authorities clean it up the last time people complained about the filth?
In second place behind this 'rubbish road' has to be the Oxford ring road, especially from the Kennington roundabout to Rose Hill roundabout. Well done, though, Mr Butterworth, for saying "what a disgrace!" CHRIS BOSWELL, Williamson Way, Rose Hill, Oxford
