Oxfordshire take the chance to look at a number of new faces when they continue their build-up to the new season with a triple-header over the Bank Holiday weekend.

They face Banbury at White Post Road tomorrow (11.30), Gloucestershire at Challow & Childrey on Sunday (12noon) and Oxford UCCE in The Parks on Monday (11).

Abingdon Vale batsman Ben Humpage and Challow & Childrey seamer David Slade are included in the side to face Banbury.

Promising young all-rounder Stuart Hole, who has joined Shipton-under-Wychwood from Freeland, gets his chance against Gloucestershire, who are expected to field mainly a 2nd XI, and Oxford UCCE.

Thame Town's Manoj Parmar is eligible for Oxfordshire this season, and will play against Oxford UCCE along with Finchampstead batsman Andy Hobbs and young Shipton off-spinner Dickon Morris.

Missing are player-coach Jamie Hewitt, who was due to see a specialist this week about his back injury, and Oxford paceman David Angove, who has a groin strain.

Also not involved are Oxford batsman Stewart Laudat, who is unlikely to be available for three-day games this year, but may be in contention for the one-day side, while Rob Williams is on tour with Leamington and Horspath batsman Robbie Eason is away on naval training.
