THE clearance for Heythrop Park to stage a large professional golf tournament can only be good news for west Oxfordshire.
An economic benefit of £5m is good money for any community and will hopefully help soothe any objections from the community who thought planning conditions would prevent such tournaments.
Surely the benefits of attracting tournaments in terms of jobs and revenue outweigh the negatives.
