ART and dance merged at Modern Art Oxford as performance artist and trained ballet dancer Anthony Howell performed his version of the tango.
Mr Howell followed the performance on Saturday with three Sunday workshops teaching the Argentinian tango to beginners, people with some experience and to people with Parkinson’s disease as an aid for balance.
Mr Howell said: “We were very pleased with the performance, which everyone seemed to love.
“We had a big turnout for the beginners’ class, and I think they enjoyed themselves.”
Mr Howell said he was stopped in the street the day after the show by someone who shook his hand and expressed his appreciation for the event.
