OXFAM could make as much as £330,000 after a Kidlington man left a series of betting slips to the charity in his will.

Nicholas Newlife placed the bets with bookmakers William Hill between 2000 and 2005.

The charity has already received £16,750 from his generosity, with a £250 bet on Roger Federer to win at least 14 grand slam titles before 2020 coming good when he won the French Open last year.

Another single bet, £1,520 on Federer to win seven Wimbledon men's singles titles before 2020, could pay out more than £100,000 this summer if the Swiss wins the tournament.
