I WENT shopping at Templar’s Square in Cowley recently.

Before I left to get my bus home, I used the toilets, washed my hands and, to my surprise, my ring fell off my finger and went down the plug hole. I was beside myself in tears.

A lady stopped to talk to me and told me to go to the council office in the centre.

Four men helped, and were so nice. Two came back to the toilets with me, undid the waste pipe and tried very hard to find it for me but, alas, could not find it.

I would like to thank them for the kindness they showed me.
