NO ONE said being ill was easy but we don’t really look after our sick very well at times.
Some patients can’t get lifesaving or life-extending drugs because beancounters say they are not economically viable.
And then when a drug is available, there are short stocks because wholesalers are flogging them off overseas thanks to the weak pound.
It’s not illegal and these wholesalers are companies looking to make a profit. But why set up a company to help the sick and then allow chasing cash damage that service?
