I HAVE just heard that parking charges for Oxford city residents are going up.
As someone who was born and bred in the city and remains a frequent visitor, I consider the residents’ parking scheme a huge scandal.
We know the city is always short of money, yet one of the most obvious recent revenue-earning schemes profits the county rather than the city.
If I still lived here I would be outraged!
