Police today appealed for witnesses after a man was attacked while walking his dogs in Kidlington.

The 46-year-old man was putting his dogs back into his car at the Evans Lane Park, which opens out on to Croft Avenue, at 7.15pm on Sunday, February 14, when the attack happened.

Police only released details today.

Two men, who the victim believed to be joggers, began hitting and kicking the man, causing injuries to his legs and head.

Det Con Sam Bonner said: “The victim was left very shaken by the incident and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything to come forward and help us with our investigation.”
