Police arrested a man after what is believed to be an attempted burglary in Oxford.
Police were called to the house in Sandy Lane at about 7.50pm on Friday by a neighbour who was concerned because he could hear voices from the property, which he believed to be empty.
Officers attended the scene and found a ladder leading up to a first-floor window and later arrested a 36-year-old man.
The man has been released on police bail until the beginning of March.
