A game of two halves. Benson got back in to their stride a lot quicker than Drayton after the long lay off and dominated the first period. Despite dictating the game they only had one goal to show at half time, but what a goal it was, with Harry Mountfield lashing in an unstoppable volley from all of 25 yards. Curtis Emery, making his debut between the sticks for Drayton had to be on top form to repel Benson. Whatever was said to the Drayton players at half time did the trick, as they reversed the roles in the second half, and got their just reward when Josh Dennis broke free on the right hand side and finished in style with an angled drive. Despite pushing for a winner, Benson's defence held firm, and I think both teams were happy with a point a piece from a very entertaining game played in a fanstastic spirit.
