Police arrested a 25-year-old man following a stop check in Barton, Oxford.
Police said that at about 12.30pm yesterday, officers spotted 'something suspicious' in a vehicle that drove past them in Fettiplace Road.
The vehicle pulled over a little further down the road, and the officers went over to stop and check the driver.
While carrying out a search of the car, officers seized a quantity of cannabis, cash and an iron bar and hammer.
The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class-B drug and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released on bail until Wednesday, March 10.
