A man from Carterton has been charged with six theft offences.
Simon Robert Parker, 18, of Briary Way, has been charged with the following offences, which all happened on October 6, 2009.
- Shoplifting at Asheridge Food Stores, Chesham
- Making off without payment for petrol at a garage in Chesham
- Theft from a motor vehicle and attempted theft of the same motor vehicle in Hill Road, Lewknor
- Theft from a car parked in Hill Road, Lewknor
- Receiving stolen goods.
He was charged by officers from the Didcot Priority Crime Team, working together with officers from Witney Priority Crime Team.
Parker appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and pleaded guilty to the offences, as well as asking for four further offences of theft from a motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, theft of fuel and shoplifting to be taken into consideration. He was released on bail by the court to return for sentencing on February 26, 2010.
