Police this evening appealing for information after a house was burgled in Faringdon between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Monday.
The burglars forced open a rear window at the property in Stanford Road and stole jewellery.
At about 11.50am on the same day, thieves tried to get into a property in Coxwell Road by forcing open the window.
Police said it was possible they could have been disturbed as nothing was stolen.
Det Con Chris Leech said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to contact the police.”
