THE county council feedback following the consultation on the future of Headington subway, taken in spring 2009, stated that 58 per cent wanted to get rid of the subway.
This consultation consisted of only 419 people out of the whole of the Headington area. In effect, 243 people wanted to get rid of it.
This is in direct contrast to the 4,000 signatures I have obtained so far in favour of keeping it.
