IT is amazing some MPs are still squawking about being caught out fiddling their expenses as Sir Thomas Legg’s report is released, detailing the amounts he has ordered them to pay back.
Our MPs have paid up (in some cases more than what was demanded) and we congratulate them for it.
But their colleagues who are still moaning are much mistaken if they think the public have forgotten the outrageous abuses of the system.
This is OUR money.
If any MP feels hard done by then we invite them to get off the gravy train and do something else. May 6 is not that far away.
