Staff and customers were evacuated from Witney's Waitrose store after smoke filled the supermarket.
Firefighters were called to the Woolgate Centre store at 1.20pm yesterday after an air conditioning unit’s motor burned out, causing the smoke. The shop reopened at 2.40pm.
