A pensioner who disappeared from his home in Charlbury, prompting a police helicopter search, has been found safe.
David Sturdy, of Woodfield Drive, went missing at about 8.15am yesterday.
The 74-year-old suffers dementia and police were concerned for his well-being.
Police spokesman David Paull said Mr Sturdy had returned home safe and well at about 9pm yesterday.
