Regarding the 20mph speed limits imposed across Oxford, has anyone considered actually educating pedestrians and cyclists on how to use roads in an appropriate manner?
It would be cheaper. What an absolutely idiotic idea to suggest a 20mph limit for Marston Ferry Road outside Cherwell School.
If they really feared for their safety, surely people would choose to use the underpass, which is there for their convenience.
Why should the motorist be penalised, because staff and pupils can't be bothered to use it?
I’ve witnessed teachers standing on the grass verge trying to run across the road. What an example.
I would beg Oxfordshire County Council to not even consider changing the speed limit.
