HOODED raiders stole expensive jewellery in a smash and grab raid.
The two men used a hammer to smash the front window at MGJ Jewellers, in St Martin’s Street, Wallingford, at about 4.15pm yesterday.
They grabbed a stash of jewellery from the display and fled.
The shop manager chased the robbers along Castle Street but they managed to escape.
It is not yet known how much was stolen in the raid.
