A pensioner who disappeared prompting a police helicopter to join in the search has been found.
David Sturdy, of Woodfield Drive, Charlbury, went missing from his home at around 8.15am yesterday morning.
The 74-year-old suffers dementia and police were concerned for his well-being.
Police spokesman David Paull said this morning Mr Sturdy returned home safe and well at around 9pm yesterday.
Thames Valley Police has thanked members of the public for their help.
