The family of Jane Sandalls, who died after a car crash near Charlbury, today paid tribute to her.

Miss Sandalls, 26, from Woodstock, died at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, after a collision on the B4437 Woodstock Road, Charlbury, on January 21.

Tributes were left at the side of the B4437, between Woodstock and Charlbury, at the New Barn Farm corner, where a Volkswagen Polo and Ms Sandalls’ Peugeot 106 collided.

In a statement, the family said: “Jane was a wonderful person. She was tragically taken away from us and has left a huge hole in our lives.

"Jane was an extremely helpful and giving person who was always there for you.

"She touched so many people’s lives and there was absolutely nothing bad about her.

“Jane will be sadly missed by all her family, friends and anyone who was lucky enough to know her.”
