Police have stepped up patrols in Wheatley after a series of attacks on cars.
During the week from November 21 to November 29, there have been several incidents of criminal damage where objects have been thrown at car windows.
PC Paul Gregory said: “We have had incidents in Farm Close Lane, Beech Road and Farm Close Road which have all happened when it is dark.
“I would like to reassure residents that we will not tolerate this type of behaviour and are doing all that we can to catch those responsible.
“Criminal damage is a crime and can result in a criminal record.
“I appeal to who has any information to come forward as they may have information to help the investigation.”
