CHRISTMAS presents have been stolen during a spree of six break-ins in Banbury.
Burglars broke into a house in Erica Close, Hardwick, some time between 9.30am and 8pm on Wednesday, November 11, but did not steal anything.
On November 18, burglars stole cash from a house in Marlowe Close, in Bretch Hill, after smashing a window.
On Wednesday, November 25, two homes in Northcot Lane, Neithrop, and homes in Sinclair Avenue and Gillett Road, were broken into.
Thieves stole iTunes and HMV music vouchers, Bratz children’s toys, mugs and a digital television – all Christmas presents – from one of the Northcot Lane houses.
Police warned people not to leave presents on display, and appealed for anyone with information to call them on 08458 505505.
