Environment Agency flood watch warnings were still in place today on the River Thame and Chalgrove Brook.

The alert on the Thame covers the catchment from River Thame from Marsworth to Shillingford including, Long Marston, Rowsham, Cuddington, Thame, Shabbington, Ickford, Waterperry, Wheatley, Drayton St Leonard and Dorchester, and also the Chalgrove Brook at Chalgrove and Stadhampton.

The River Thames has also been placed on flood watch upstream of Oxfordshire, from Cirencester to St John's Lock, Lechlade.

On Tuesday, flood watch warnings were removed from two rivers in West Oxfordshire.

The warnings had been issued for the River Evenlode from Moreton-in-Marsh to Cassington, including Kingham, Milton-under-Wychwood, Shipton-under-Wychwood and Charlbury, and also for the River Glyme at Wootton and Woodstock, following heavy rain at the weekend.
