In this top v bottom clash, it was the Kidlington that put Abingdon under pressure straight from the kick off. It was probably the first time during the season that Abingdon goal had been under attack. But the Abingdon defence held firm, and Kidlington were extremely unlucky not to have scored at least one goal.

But a triple substition by the Abingdon manager changed the game, and in the last 5 minutes of the 1st half Abingdon raced into a 4 goal lead.

Abingdon were quickly out of the blocks at the start of the 2nd half and scored 2 more quick goals. But Kidlington stuck in and battled their more accomplished rivals, but couldn't stop Abingdon from scoring more goals.

Well done to Kidlington for giving Abingdon a game.
