The game kicked off with pleasant conditions with the sun making an appearance but soon deteriorated with frequent heavy showers but Tower produced an excellent team performance to score 7 goals against a plucky Easington side.

The first ten minutes were an even affair with both sides finding their feet. Yassin Elouahabi then scored his first of three with his persistence paying off to make if 1-0 and could have scored a second within a minute but his shot went over the top. Josh Lathey then tried his luck with a long range effort. Easington then had their first chance but Owen Churchill in the Tower goal saved well. Tower were now pushing for a second and Jamie Harris duly obliged with a shot that found the back of the net through a melee of players. Tower were now well on top but the Easington keeper kept his team in the game with a fantastic save from a powerful Daniel Bullock header but was unlucky with Tower's third from Yassin Elouahabi. Half time score 3-0.

In the second half Easington continued to battle and contest every ball but Tower soon made it 4 with Yassin Elouahabi's best goal with a curling shot that found the net. Daniel Bullock continued the scoring with an excellent 25 yard chip over the unlucky Easington keeper. Tower then wrapped the game up with further goals from Luke Turner and Jamie Harris with his second.

Credit must go to Easington who never once let their heads go down and continued to contest every ball right to the final whistle but were unable to contain an excellent all round team performance from Tower.
