Garsington started the first half playing excellent football,passing through the team,and were rewarded with an early goal from William Jeffery.Strong defending from Jack England and Wilbur Stone Loveridge halted Wantages attacks.Further first half pressure resulted in goals for Jack Crudgington,William Hale and a second finish from William Jeffery to take a commanding 4-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half Wantage upped their game and created many more chances,by finding their passing game.They were rewarded with a nice finish from Arthur Tilly.In a very even second half Josh Francis popped up with Garsingtons fifth goal to settle home nerves,resulting in a 5-1 win for the home side.
