Police today appealed for witnesses after a burglary at Benson Cruisers Station in Benson.
At about 11.20pm yesterday, thieves smashed a single pane of glass on the river-facing window of the restaurant using a sledgehammer and entered the storeroom. They stole the safe containing £1,500 in cash.
Police said CCTV images showed the offenders were wearing hooded tops.
