A DIDCOT sixth-former has been named the top young biologist in the county at a ceremony at Oxford’s Museum of Natural History.
Claire Thompson was presented with the Sixth Form Biologist 2009 award by the Oxford Independent and State School Partnership and the University of Oxford.
Students on the shortlist for the award were given a tour of the museum by TV scientist Dr George McGavin.
