Police are appealing for witnesses after two burglaries in Cumnor Hill and Elms Rise.
Between 9am and 11am on Friday, thieves gained entry to a property in Cumnor Hill and stole cash.
Between 9am and 12.30pm, offenders gained entry to a property in Arthray Road and stole a bottle containing £50 to £60 worth of 20p pieces.
A police spokesman said: "Residents are reminded that a lot of burglaries can be prevented and most are committed by opportunist criminals.
"In two out of ten burglaries, they don’t even have to force their way in, they get in through an open door or window."
