Brackley-based Brawn GP has launched a new website dedicated to the team’s wind tunnel facilities.

Brawn GP's original half-scale wind tunnel was commissioned in February 2000 and used to develop the team’s Formula One racing cars using 50 per cent scale models.

The facility is still very much state of the art with a major refurbishment having taken place in 2007.

Other benefits of testing in the Brawn GP wind tunnel include a fully self-contained model preparation area with surface table along with a machine shop and trim shop.

The facility also includes a customer meeting room, canteen and a state-of-the-art gym.
