Summertown's Dash Ward scored with two strikes followed up by Charlie Rundle's slot in from a corner. However Irish Rhys Clarke pulled one back with an 18 yard shot, giving a 3-1 half time scoreline.
A brace from Kasam Gurung made the scores level until an inswinging corner from Alex Kelsey edged Summertown ahead.
Irish stepped up their game in the last 15 minutes resulting in two penalty goals by Dean Bough and Scot Faulkner securing the points for the Irish.
