HORSPATH may be a small village, but its football team attracted plenty of support.
These pictures were taken at the club’s annual dinner, held in the old village hall in about 1951.
The pictures were sent in by Keith Brooks, of Gateley, Horspath.
He writes: “Among those present were Frank Crook, Ernie Hinton, Ken Gomm, Bill Waite, father and son 'Sacky' and Jim Munt, brothers Bob and Keith Walker, Tom and Jim Payne, Mick and Harold Butler, and Ken and Sid Shepherd, with their wives Grace and Win.
“What happy memories these two pictures hold.”
