IF ODIOUS Nick Griffin had something coherent to say he wouldn’t have spent most of yesterday bleating about being stitched up on Question Time.

While the leader of the British National Party moaned about being picked on during Thursday night’s BBC debate, people on the streets of Oxford were united in their contempt for him.

Griffin tripped himself up and tied himself in knots throughout the broadcast, proving that the BBC was right to invite him on in the first place.

When the spotlight of publicity shone on Mr Griffin he showed himself to be anything but a democrat.

The mob that gathered outside the BBC Television Centre were determined Mr Griffin should not be given any air time.

How wrong they were.

By appearing alongside mainstream politicians the public has learned all it needs to know about him and his disgraceful party.
