OXFORD Jason I’Anson, 27, of no fixed address, admitted possession of cannabis at Wallingford on June 16. Fined £50, and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also admitted breaching an antisocial behaviour order and commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence on July 16. Order varied, one week added to the operational period of the order.

Michael Roberts, 29, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a pair of Reebok trainers, to the value of £29.99, belonging to Soccer World, Oxford, on July 16. Also admitted assault at Oxford on July 16. Jailed for four weeks.

Carl Derbyshire, 36, of Craufurd Road, Oxford, admitted taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent in Thame on June 24. Also admitted driving while disqualified, without insurance and while using a handheld mobile phone. Jailed for 19 weeks and banned from driving for 12 months.

Ben Joel, 39, of Kennington Road, Kennington, admitted possession of cannabis in Oxford on July 9 and commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Gary Coulthard, 35, of Ridgefield Road, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to a property valued under £5,000 in Oxford on June 16. Given a community order to carry out appointments with a responsible officer and placed under supervision for 18 months. Also ordered to pay £150 compensation and £60 costs.

Peter Mulford, 59, of Lewin Close, Oxford, admitted failing to supply a specimen for analysis as a vehicle driver, in Oxford, on June 14. Given an 18-week prison sentence suspended for 24 months. Banned from driving for 60 months, and ordered to pay £60 costs.

Paul Worman, 32, of Knights Road, Oxford, admitted stealing two bottles of vodka and two packets of thin beef steak to the value of £48.98, belonging to Tesco stores, in Oxford. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Sean Holmes, 44, of Sherwood Place, Headington, admitted assaulting a constable in execution of his duty, and using threatening words or behaviour in Oxford on June 17. Given a community order to be placed under supervision for 18 months and attend aggression replacement training programme. Also ordered to pay £100 compensation.

Andrew Jones, 46, of Parkside, Wolvercote, admitted assault at Oxford on April 15. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £239.50 compensation.
