The inquest into the deaths of two servicemen from Oxfordshire who died when their Puma helicopter crashed in North Yorkshire will be held in October, it has been announced.
Flt Lt David Sale, 28, and Sgt Phillip Burfoot, 27, both from the 33 Squadron based at RAF Benson, died in the crash near Catterick Garrison in August 2007.
A third man Pte Sean Tait, from Glasgow, was also killed.
The inquest of the deaths of the three men will begin on October 5 at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court and is expected to last up to three weeks.
